SOP: Contact reporting

Flight Lead has final say as to when to start attack. Do not attack unless ordered to do so.

Ranger: Bogies, <heading> <if different elevation, low or high> <distance> <number>. <callsign> <action>. Ranger: Bogies, 3 o'clock high, 3 miles and closing, 2 pair. Ranger engaging.

Also, keep your situational awareness. If you need help, call for it. Example: This is Ranger, need help, <altitude>. Please assist.

SOP: Communication

Communication Protocol This protocol focuses on establishing radio discipline between squad members and their leaders during gameplay.

- Do not begin talking while another player is already talking. - The comms are for relaying game-related information, do not introduce general chatter during critical gameplay moments. A lot of missions have LONG periods of downtime and the channel will be open for chatting. - Begin voice communications with the communication recipient, followed by your own name, then the message. It is often hard to identify the speaker during firefights or other activities, so including both your own name and the targets name clears any momentary confusion.

JBRanger says: Root, this is Ranger (using Ranger instead of JBRanger for in game comms), return to base.
Root says: Ranger, roger that, returning to base.

- The Flight Leader has authority over voice communications within the squad, as they often need to quickly direct the squad during battle. - When the Flight Leader announces "Flight, this is Flight Leader" or "Everyone, Listen up", all voice communications must cease immediately.
